Villa Orninge

This remarkable 500 m2 stone villa was built in 1920 down by the sea, just a 10 min walk from Svinnock. The isolated 180° property facing south-west has remarkable sundowns, a private beach and sauna, two jetties and is surrounded by nature reserves and magical virgin forests.

The charm and patina of Villa Orninge is beyond ordinary and we trust that our guests will love all of its charm and flaws just as much. All original interiors and decorations have been carefully preserved for more than 100 years including the original kitchen and furnishings.

Bedrooms
The house has 8 bedrooms in total. 7 of these are furnished with double beds, while one has two single beds. 4 of the bedrooms have their own beautiful marble sinks. All beds are original, but have been upgraded with new mattresses, pillows and duvets. Bed linen are included when staying at Villa Orninge so that you can just check-in and relax upon arrival.

Kitchen
The kitchen has always been the heart of the house and is kept in its original 1920s design. It is fully equipped with a dishwasher, spacious fridge, electric oven and stove and all the nitty gritty's for cooking. If you are looking for something specific, let us know and we are happy to hook you up.

Social Areas
The house has one large dining room that easily can fit groups up to 18. There is also a large entry hall, a spacious living room on the bottom floor and a lounge area with a TV on the second floor.

Outdoors
There are multiple outdoor gems such as outdoor seating areas and lounge furniture, grill, two jetties, a 6m trampoline, cliffs and coves for bathing and a private beach with silky sand imported from Skåne. Most of the land around Villa Orninge is protected nature reserves and virgin forests with a number of beautiful hikes. Also you are welcome to visit our main farm Svinnock 500m up the road by the lake of Hemträsk.

Toilets & bathrooms
The house has 4 toilets and one master bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
Crisp white linnen and towels (one for indoor use and one for outdoor use) are included in the rent.
