Regenerative mussel farming

Innovative mussel farming to reduce nutrients in the Baltic See.

We are proud to host a regenerative mussel farm on our waters in collaboration with Ecopelag. The project is called Innovative mussel farming for reducing nutrients in the Baltic Sea (Små musslor med stort värde) where the overall goal is to increase the pace and effectiveness for environmental measures in the Northern Baltic Water District. The project is a sub-project within LIFE IP Rich Waters and extends over 7.5 years (2017 - 2024).
